The outside half shaft comes off with the final drive. When you take the clutch off, the inside half shaft will come out off the differential with the clutch. If the half shaft does not come out with clutch, it can be pulled out of differential to replace the seal.
The seal can be pried out of bearing carrier, and a new one tapped in with a seal driver.
Replace half shaft, then replace clutch, then final drive. Might be a good time to examine the live power clutch, while in there. May have to degrease clutch if seal has caused a lot of oil to be leaked on clutch. Take your time and check it out. Good Luck!
Bob
As the diagram shows, the live clutch parts stay bolted to the differential.
